Pre-Care
Things to know before your appointment:
For all services, please read the following instructions BEFORE you book an appointment :
***Its important you follow these guidelines to ensure the best results.***
Just about everyone can qualify for my services. A few restricts apply and you may need to consult a doctor beforehand:
-under the age of 18
-currently sick
-pregnant/breastfeeding
-taking or have used Accutane within the last year
-taking antibiotics or blood thinners
-allergies to Lidocaine/Benzocaine
-Undergoing Chemotherapy
-active skin cancer
-Diabetes
-Autoimmune disorder, difficulty healing, rash in the area
-Any heart condition
-History of keloid scarring
-Glaucoma
-Uncontrolled high blood pressure
-Hemophiliac
-Active hyperpigmentation
-Clients with fresh chemical peels or laser treatments
-Fillers or botox within 4 weeks
-Lips: If you have a history of cold sores an antiviral medication must be taken at least 2 weeks before tattooing.
**If you have previous permanent makeup, you much get approved before scheduling appointment.**
-No alcohol at least 24hrs before appointment.
-Arrive well rested and hydrated.
-No caffeine the morning of your appointment.
-Refrain from using skin care actives around the area AT LEAST 2 weeks prior such as: retinoids, vitamin c, glycolic acid, other types of AHAs/BHAs, niacin amide, and brightening products.
-must not be pregnant and/or breastfeeding.
-No blood thinning medication 24hrs prior to appointment: asprin, advil, aleve, ibuprofen, etc
-Do not schedule any super invasive facials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, peels or laser treatments for at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
-Must have discontinued using accutane 1 year prior.
-No botox or fillers 4 weeks before/after appointment.
-Limit sun exposure and tanning services in the days leading up to your appointment. (If your skin is sunburnt you cannot get tattooed)
Brows-Do not get your eyebrows waxed or tinted at least 1 week prior
-If you'd like me to do your eyebrows how you do; then you can wear your brow makeup in, if not..dont worry about doing your makeup.
Lips-If you carry the cold sore virus it is REQUIRED that you take preventative medication from your Doctor (like valtrex) 1 weeks before and 1 week after your appointment to prevent outbreaks. *It is not a guarantee that it will prevent.
-If you'd like to play it safe and/or not sure if you carry the virus you can take over the counter amino acid supplement (like Lysine) a few days before your appointment.
-Please have your lips exfoliated and hydrated for your appointment.
Areola Restoration/Scar Camouflage-Must have doctors clearance if gone through any resent surgeries pertaining to the area being treated.
Eyeliner
(Lash Enhancement ONLY)-Please refrain from wearing any makeup around your eyes coming into your appointment.
-Do NOT wear contact lenses into your appointment. If you do and I cant accommodate proper storage we will have to reschedule.
-Eyelash Extensions must be off 2 days before!!
-Discontinue Eyelash Growth Serums for at least 2 months before procedure.
Post-Care
For all PMU do not:
No sauna, excess sweating, no swimming, no pools until completely healed.
No unapproved ointments, creams, or vitamins on area.
No sunbathing or tanning for 4 weeks after procedure.
No chemical peels, Botox, dermabrasion, or any other strong treatments for 4 weeks.
No heavy makeup of any kind for at least 2 weeks.
Avoid gardening and contact with animals until healed.
DO NOT SCRATCH/PICK AT AREA
DO NOT SLEEP ON AREA.
Lips:
Do not eat citrus fruits; greasy salty or spicy foods until fully healed. Do not let area dry out. No lip fillers for AT LEAST 2 weeks.
30 min after: Clean the area with gentle clean wipes every 7-10 minutes for the first 2 hours (or when fluid is releasing)
Day 1-7:Gently wash area each morning and night with gentle soap and water for 3-4 days. Apply approved ointment with clean applicator for 3-4x a day for 7 days. Apply extra before bed and bath. Repeat through days 7-28 until healed.
Brows:
Day 1: Ice packs may be applied as necessary to reduce swelling. Gently blot area with a clean tissue to absorb any fluid.
Day 2-7:Use a light touch to wash each day with unscented cleanser. Gently pat dry.Apply small amount of aftercare 3X a day or as needed with a clean applicator. Be sure the tattoo is dry before applying moisturizer.
Day 7-28 Repeat until healed.
Eyeliner:
Follow aftercare instructions received at time of appointment. Do not rub or scratch the treated area. Especially through scabbing phase. Do NOT wear eye makeup especially mascara for at least 15 days after procedure. Try to avoid contact lenses until healed. Wear a pair of glasses instead.
Proper care following your procedure is necessary to achieve the best results. Keep in mind that in many cases some unevenness of color may happen. This is the purpose of a touch up visit. Please review the following directions and refer to them as necessary.
** Keep watch for signs of infection including but not limited to: tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the site.**
Aftercare for Body Tattoos & Restorative Tattoo:
To ensure proper healing and longevity of your tattoo, follow these aftercare instructions:
Keep the tattoo covered with a sterile bandage for the first few hours.
Gently wash the tattoo with mild soap and lukewarm water, then pat dry.
Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer or tattoo aftercare ointment.
Avoid soaking the tattoo in water (baths, pools) for at least two weeks.
Refrain from picking or scratching the tattoo as it heals.
Protect the tattoo from direct sunlight; use sunscreen once healed.

Policies
Deposit:
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required when booking your appointment. Remaining amount will be charge after the service has been completed.
Rescheduling/ Cancellations:
Rescheduling must be within 36 hours of your appointment. If appointment is rescheduled more than once, a new deposit must be made for new appointment. Deposit is non-refundable.
Arriving late/No-show:
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment you may have to be rescheduled and you may have to forfeit your deposit. If you are a no-call /no-show you will forfeit your deposit, and may not be able to rebook. Please be courteous.
Touch Ups:
Touch ups are HIGHLY recommended. That second session takes place 6-8 weeks after your first session. Touch ups are an additional $150, and is recommended to be booked at time of appointment. If booked after the 6-8 week mark, it will be charged as a different appointment.
